Kawana Waters Ningi This is the area dubbed "Boomera" and is located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With a population of 12,400, it is projected to have a population of 100,000 permanent residents by 2025. The new Town Centre to be located around the train station will house a community centre, public library, private hospital, 50m swimming pool and 106,000m2 of retail space.

Upper Coomera State College: $16 million second stage development which will provide facilities for year 11 and 12 students including new multi purpose hall and special education unit.
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE: The Coomera Education precinct is to be completed end 2007 at a cost of $25 million and planned to have synergies with Dreamworld and the Marine precinct.
