Coomera, GOLD COAST

This is the area dubbed "Boomera" and is located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With a population of 12,400, it is projected to have a population of 100,000 permanent residents by 2025. The new Town Centre to be located around the train station will house a community centre, public library, private hospital, 50m swimming pool and 106,000m2 of retail space.
Matusik Property Insights says $2.236 billion worth of new investment is now underway across 13 projects within a 10km radius of Coomera.

Gold Coast Marine Precinct - $120 million development over 250Ha fronting the Coomera River. Should double the employment prospects to 5,000

CUB Brewery Yatala expansion. $170 million expansion completed in 2005, making this the equal to the largest brewery in Australia

Access Business Parks: $40 million industrial project comprising 51 lots.

Upper Coomera State College: $16 million second stage development which will provide facilities for year 11 and 12 students including new multi purpose hall and special education unit.

Gold Coast Institute of TAFE: The Coomera Education precinct is to be completed end 2007 at a cost of $25 million and planned to have synergies with Dreamworld and the Marine precinct.
